Warranty Claims

Goods returned for a warranty claim within the first year of purchase are FREE OF CHARGE, providing they are then confirmed to be faulty by manufacturing defect. If your warranty claim is rejected by the manufacturer, then the return carriage costs of £7.50 will be chargeable before we can send the item back to you.

If your purchase is more than 12 months old, the cost of return for a warranty claim is down to our customers or it can be raised directly with the manufacturer.

All items returned to us as faulty will be checked by the manufacturer.

Any items that are returned to us are photographed on arrival into our warehouse for both the protection of Luggage Superstore and our customers.

Only items that have failed due to a fault in the manufacturing process will be either replaced, repaired or refunded. The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, it does not cover damage caused by misuse, airline damage, neglect or failure to follow recommended use. Luggage Superstore act as an intermediator party for warranties and cannot be held responsible for the decisions that suppliers make in regards to refunds, replacements or repairs.

How to package your item

We appreciate that after a period of time many of our customers will no longer have the original box or packaging that their order arrived in. As our customers are responsible for the correct packaging of an item for a warranty claim, Luggage Superstore cannot be held responsible for any damage obtained to a suitcase or bag during transit back to us. We strongly recommend trying to find a large enough cardboard box that will accommodate the whole item. These can often be found in supermarkets or shops. Alternatively, some of our customers have chosen to use very thick, strong 'Rubble Bags' to package their item up with, using carboard as extra protection on the corners. We do not cover the cost for packaging to return the item to us.

How to return your item for a warranty claim

To book with our preferred courier DPD, please follow the link HERE to our customer friendly online portal. Please note, customers will NOT be charged £7.50 for returning a faulty item within 12 months of purchase. In the first instance, please email us at customerservice@luggagesuperstore.co.uk with a picture of the issue and your order number. You will then be advised accordingly as to how we will proceed.

When sending a warranty claim back to us, please ensure that you include the following information in the package. Omitting any or part of the below information will result in a delay in the warranty process.

Length of Warranties

All items are guaranteed for at least 1 year against manufacturing defects, however some products will come with an extended manufacturer guarantee. Check the product listing for more details on the length of warranties offered.

Airline Damage

The manufacturers warranty will only cover damage done as a result of a manufacturing defect. Airline damage will not be covered under this warranty. We can help to facilitate a claim against an airline by providing quotes from suppliers or invoices of purchases.
