Warranty Claims

Items that have failed due to a fault in the manufacturing process will be either replaced, repaired or refunded.

General Information

The warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, it does not cover damage caused by misuse, airline damage, neglect or failure to follow recommended use. Luggage Superstore act as an intermediary party for warranties and cannot be held responsible for the decisions that suppliers make in regards to refunds, replacements or repairs.

All items returned to us as faulty will be checked by the manufacturer.

Any items that are returned to us are photographed on arrival into our warehouse for both the protection of Luggage Superstore and our customers.

Warranties Under 12 Months

Goods returned for a warranty claim within the first year of purchase are FREE OF CHARGE, providing they are then confirmed to be faulty by manufacturing defect. If your warranty claim is rejected by the manufacturer, then the return carriage costs of £7.50 will be chargeable before we can send the item back to you.

Warranties Over 12 Months

In the first instance, please email us at customerservice@luggagesuperstore.co.uk with a picture of the issue and your order number. You will then be advised accordingly as to how we will proceed.

If your purchase is more than 12 months old, the cost of the return for a warranty claim is down to customers. Customers will need to arrange their own courier for this. 

There are 3 options with warranty claims over 12 months:

  • Contact the manufacturer directly - We will be happy to provide contact details for this.
  • Contact Fix My Bag - The authorised repair centre for many of our brands. Contact details can be found online.
  • Ask us to facilitate a warranty claim.
Warranty Claim Returns

When sending a warranty claim back to us, please ensure that you include the following information in the package. Omitting any or part of the below information will result in a delay in the warranty process.

  • Name
  • Order Number
  • New address if different from previous
Packaging Your Item

We appreciate that after some time, many of our customers will no longer have the original box or packaging that their order arrived in.

Customers are responsible for the correct packaging of an item for a warranty claim, Luggage Superstore cannot be held accountable for any damage incurred to a suitcase or bag during transit back to us.

We strongly recommend finding a large enough cardboard box to accommodate the whole item. These can often be found in supermarkets or shops. Alternatively, some of our customers have chosen to use thick, strong 'Rubble Bags' to package their items with, using cardboard as extra protection on the corners.

We will not cover the cost of packaging to return the item to us.

Warranty Length

All items are guaranteed for at least one year against manufacturing defects; however, some products come with an extended manufacturer's guarantee. Check the product listing for more details on the length of warranties offered.

Airline Damage

The manufacturer's warranty only covers damage caused by a manufacturing defect. Airline damage is not covered under this warranty. We can help facilitate a claim against an airline by providing quotes from suppliers or invoices of purchases.
